Apps often ask for access to your camera, microphone, photos and location. A quick review helps you decide what they really need.

On iPhone

Open Settings → Privacy & Security. Review categories such as Location Services, Camera and Microphone, then adjust individual apps. Exact labels may vary by iOS version.

On Android

Open Settings → Security & privacy or Privacy → Permission manager, depending on your device. Review permissions and change access for apps you do not trust or no longer use.

Make it a habit

Revisit permissions after installing new apps. Denying a permission can disable a feature, but you can usually re-enable it when needed.
